Launching a new product
We help frame the structure: what has to be built, who owns what, how the work fits together and what a realistic path to go-live looks like. Then we help you run the program through to launch.
Frame a new trading launch. Optimize an exchange that's already live.
We help teams put the right structure around a new electronic trading product, and improve the pieces of an existing exchange, whether that's right after launch or as your team and product mature.

The right support for where your exchange is today.
We help frame the structure: what has to be built, who owns what, how the work fits together and what a realistic path to go-live looks like. Then we help you run the program through to launch.
We look at what's working and what isn't, decide where to focus, and improve specific pieces, from technology and data to operations and the member experience, so the exchange performs the way you intended.
As your team and product mature, we help you put structure around what began as a fast-moving launch: clear ownership, ways of working and standards that hold up as you scale.
We work with executives and program sponsors, such as CEOs, COOs, CTOs and heads of product or operations, and with the boards and investors who need independent oversight.
The introductory conversation
01
Tell us where you are and what you'd like to be different.
02
A senior consultant who has led this work before, not a salesperson. We get a clear view of the problem and whether we can help with it.
03
If we can help, we run a 1 to 2 hour immersion at no cost. From that we give you the recommendation, the risks, and a price.
A fintech company with a couple hundred employees had run one exchange for about a decade and was expanding into a new product: a different type of exchange. It had spent roughly a year building the technology, but when a new CIO came in, he found there was no real plan, and nothing that accounted for how cross-functional the launch was. Leadership had a target date, but no reliable way to know when the exchange would actually be ready.
We embedded program and project managers quickly, assessed where the program actually stood, and set up a framework to produce a realistic launch date the client could be confident in. We then organized the program into about 15 workstreams, from the core trading system, infrastructure, and information security to legal and regulatory, member onboarding, production readiness, and disaster recovery. Detailed planning across those workstreams confirmed what it would take to get the program back on track, and we drove active project and risk management through launch.
Executive leadership and the full program team had clear visibility at every step, which let leaders make trade-offs and set priorities early enough to keep risks under control and the timeline intact. The exchange launched on the date our plan set, replacing an original target that had been aspirational rather than grounded in any plan. The program also showed the company the value of disciplined program and project management, and we advised on a PMO structure to support its goals after launch and its plans for more exchanges.
